'What is the AAUP?' Free Seminar Jan. 22

The Southeast Missouri State University Chapter of the American Association of University Professors (AAUP) will host a free seminar on "What is the AAUP?" today, Jan. 22, from noon-1 p.m. in Kent Library, Room 215. The seminar will cover the mission, function, organization and history of the AAUP, including the history of the local chapter. A question and answer session with members of the local chapter will follow. All faculty -- full-time and part-time, tenure track and non-tenure track -- are invited to attend.

Registration Deadline for Hall of Fame Dinner and Induction Ceremony is Jan. 24.

The registration deadline for the Southeast Missouri Athletics Hall of Fame Dinner and Induction Ceremony is Friday, Jan. 24. This year's special event is scheduled for Friday, Feb. 7, at the Show Me Center. The event begins with a social hour at 6 p.m., followed by a dinner and program at 7 p.m. Cost is $50 per adult and $20 per youth ages 12 and under. Sponsorships to support the event are also available. All reservations and sponsorships include a game ticket to the Redhawks basketball doubleheader against Tennessee Tech University on Feb. 8.
