Payroll Paper Check Pickup at Human Resources

Effective October 2020, paper payroll checks can be picked up each pay date in Human Resources located in Academic Hall Room 12, between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. Payroll checks will no longer be available at the Show Me Center Box office.
The 2020 payroll calendar, which shows all pay periods and pay dates, is available at semo.edu/hr/pdf/2020Calendar.pdf. To ensure everyone’s safety, sneeze guards, hand sanitizer and face coverings are being utilized within the Human Resources office. Human Resources Announces Employee Annual Benefits Open Enrollment Meetings

2021 Annual Benefits Open Enrollment will begin on Monday, Oct. 26 and end on Friday, Nov. 6. Informational meetings will be held Oct. 12-22. Campus Health Clinic Hosting Flu Shot Clinic Oct. 5-9

The Campus Health Clinic will have a week long Flu Shot Clinic from 8 a.m.-4 p.m. Oct 5-9 in the Rosemary Berkel Crisp Hall of Nursing Room 108. The Campus Health Clinic will file insurance or the charges may be billed to an employee's SEMO account. Flu shots are covered at 100% by the University’s employee health insurance plans with UMR, a United Healthcare company. To make an appointment, call (573) 651-2270.

Annual Employee Wellness Screening and Fair Postponed

The annual Employee Wellness Screening and Fair has been postponed due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Employees are encouraged to get a flu shot with their healthcare provider or local pharmacies and retail locations. Employees may also make an appointment with the Campus Health Clinic or participate in the Flu Shot Clinic Oct. 5–9 by calling (573) 651-2270. Preventative care and flu shots are covered at 100% by in-network providers, within the United Healthcare Choice Plus Network. Athletics Alumni Spotlight: Lee Smith

Lee Smith is in this week's Southeast Missouri Alumni Spotlight presented by SoutheastHEALTH. A native of Rantoul, Illinois, Smith played two years on SEMO's men's golf team from 1995-97. He finished his career with a 78.2 average. Smith had his best average among SEMO golfers with a 78.1 in the spring of 1996.
