News Conference Planned for 3:15 p.m. Today

A new conference is scheduled for 3:15 p.m. today, Sept. 9, to announce an exciting new development for prospective students. The news conference will be held outdoors on the rear lawn of Academic Hall near the northeast corner of the building. In the event of rain, the news conference will be held in Academic Hall Room 101. The campus community is invited. Face coverings will be required, and social distancing guidelines will be in place. The news conference will also be available live on the University's Facebook page.

Southeast Observing Patriot Day in Remembrance of 9/11

Southeast will observe Patriot Day on Friday, Sept. 11 in remembrance of the fallen who lost their lives during the terrorist attacks of Sept. 11, 2001. 'Take-Away Friday ' Returns Sept. 11 with 'Teaching with Radical Empathy'

The Center for Teaching and Learning (CTL) kickstarts its “Take-Away Friday” series of faculty development presentationson  Sept. 11 at noon on Zoom. "Teaching with Radical Empathy" will be presented by Dr. Sarah Kuborn, assistant professor of family studies, and Dr. Monica Radu, assistant professor of sociology. The Center for Teaching and Learning (CTL) continues its “Fall Institute” series of faculty development presentations on Sept. 11 at 3 p.m. on Zoom.
