Temporary Parking, Shuttle Route Changes Sept. 25 Behind Academic Hall

On Sept. 25 from 7 a.m.-5 p.m., parking will be closed and shuttle routes will be altered behind Academic Hall. Parking spaces behind Academic Hall will need be cleared of vehicles by 10 p.m. Sept. 24. Vehicles not moved will be towed.

The altered Shuttle routes will be as followed:

Green Route:
Beginning at 7:20 a.m., the Green Route will not stop behind Academic Hall at the Memorial Hall stop. When the Green Route leaves Grauel Building the second time, instead of going behind Academic Hall, the shuttle will stop at the front of Academic Hall by the stairs. It will then proceed to Henderson St., then Transit Way and stop at the sidewalk by Cheney Hall instead of Memorial Hall. The Green Route will then proceed on its normal route to Parker Hall and Scully Building.

River Campus Route:
Beginning at 7 a.m., the River Campus Routes will not stop behind Academic Hall at the Memorial Hall stop. Upon departing its scheduled Dempster Hall stop, the River Campus Route will proceed to Henderson St., then Transit Way and stop at the sidewalk by Cheney Hall instead of Memorial Hall. The bus will then proceed down Cheney Drive and stop at the stairs between Serena Building and Carnahan Hall instead of behind Academic Hall. The bus will then proceed to Pacific St. and resume its normal route.

Passengers with physical disabilities should alert their shuttle driver and the driver will get the passenger as close to the normal stop as possible. During this time, the Shuttle Trackers may be flawed due to the use of these altered routes. The shuttles will resume normal routes by 5 p.m.
