Nason Lane, from Malden, was awarded the inaugural Southeast Missouri Football Law Enforcement Academy Scholarship. The SEMO football program will provide Lane with a need-based scholarship amount up to $6,500. Lane received a surprise visit from Redhawks Head Coach Tom Matukewicz, outside linebacker Omardrick Douglas, Rowdy the Redhawk and others at his place of employment -- Weaver Popcorn -- this week.

Southeast Missouri women's volleyball head coach Julie Yankus announced Wednesday, Dec. 16 the addition of Mackenzie Meehan ahead of the spring 2020-2021 season. Meehan, a 6-1 sophomore middle blocker/outsider hitter, joins the Redhawks after earning Big South All-Freshman honors in 2019 while at Radford University.
