Southeast Missouri men's basketball travels to Ohio Valley Conference (OVC) leader Belmont University Thursday, Jan. 7. Tip-off is set for 6 p.m. at the Curb Event Center. SEMO opens a three-game road trip with two games in the Music City this week -- at Belmont University and at Tennessee State University on Jan. 9. The Redhawks road matchup at University of Tennessee at Martin, postponed from its initial Dec. 12 date, has been rescheduled for Jan. 11.

The Ohio Valley Conference (OVC) announced alterations to the 2020-2021 volleyball schedule. In order to limit travel to multiple locations during the same weekend and give schools the most flexibility to complete the highest percentage of matches possible, the OVC Council of Directors of Athletics approved an updated schedule that now features 16 conference matches with back-to-back matches with the same opponent.

Southeast Missouri women's gymnastics announced today, Jan. 6, its schedule for the 2021 season. The Redhawks will compete in nine meets and host four regular-season competitions against Midwest Independent Conference opponents Illinois State University (twice), Texas Woman's University, Centenary College of Louisiana and Lindenwood University.

Sophomore guard Sophie Bussard was named the Ohio Valley Conference (OVC) Player of the Week, the league announced Jan. 5. Bussard, a Silver Lake, Indiana, native, led Southeast Missouri women's basketball this past week with 37 points (18.5ppg) in 75 minutes of court time as the Redhawks earned their first two OVC victories of the 2020-2021 campaign.
