Southeast to Celebrate Fall Graduates at Nov. 21 Ceremonies

Southeast Missouri State University will hold a ceremony for fall graduates at 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. Nov. 21 in the Show Me Center during which 700 students – 580 undergraduates, 115 master’s degree candidates and five specialist candidates – will be recognized. Around 440 students are expected to participate in this weekend's ceremonies. Face coverings will be required, and social distancing guidelines will be in place for all attendees. Additionally, tickets are required to attend the ceremonies. To accommodate capacity limitations and meet the needs of faculty and staff, and family and friends who cannot attend in person, all ceremonies will be live-streamed at semo.edu/commencement. Student Art, Hutson Greenhouse Pop-Up Shop Nov. 20

Kent Library's Mississippi Mugs, the Department of Art and Design and the Department of Agriculture are sponsoring a pop-up sale of Southeast art students' work and plants from the Charles Hutson Horticulture Greenhouse on Friday, Nov. 20. Kent Library Calls for 'Icy Tomes' Reading Recommendations

There is a chill in the air, and while it is still autumn, temperatures have begun to dip close to freezing overnight. Soon it will be December, and then officially winter — the perfect time to snuggle up under a blanket with a favorite book and a warm beverage. Kent Library is excited about sweater weather, so it is recommending books that feature ice, snow or a wintery setting that nurture a winter wonderland kind of mood. Discounted Faculty, Staff Tickets Available for Fall for Dance 2020

Southeast faculty and staff are eligible for discounted tickets for Fall for Dance 2020 presented by The Jeanine Larson Dobbins Conservatory of Theatre and Dance at the River Campus at 7:30 p.m. Nov. 19-21 and 2 p.m. Nov. 22. Tickets may be purchased at the River Campus Box Office, Show Me Center Box Office, or Athletics Box Office. A valid faculty or staff ID must be presented when purchasing.

2020-2021 Basketball Tickets on Sale Now

Ticket packages and single-game tickets for the 2020-2021 Southeast Missouri basketball season are on sale now. Full-season packages include limited availability in lower-level sections and serve as the only way to guarantee seating in those areas for SEMO home basketball games this year. Season tickets include all 17 home dates for the men's and women's teams.

Baseball Adds Two to Coaching Staff
