Southeast faculty and staff are eligible for discounted tickets for “Holiday Concerts for Symphony and Choirs” presented by the Southeast Missouri Symphony, University Choir and Chamber Choir at 7:30 p.m. Nov. 23 and 24. Tickets may be purchased at the River Campus Box Office, Show Me Center Box Office, or Athletics Box Office. A valid faculty or staff ID must be presented when purchasing.

2020-2021 Basketball Radio Show Starts Nov. 23

Southeast Missouri's Basketball radio show will air live for the first time this 2020-2021 season on Monday, Nov. 23 at Wings Etc. in Cape Girardeau. The radio show, which runs from noon-1 p.m. will be every Monday throughout the season for a total of 14 dates. All shows will be broadcast live on the radio at SEMO ESPN 93.5 FM and 1220 AM from the Wings Etc. locations in Cape Girardeau and Jackson. Fans can also watch each week online at Erik Sean will host the show.

Women's Basketball Season-Opener vs. Missouri Baptist Canceled

Southeast Missouri's women's basketball season-opener against Missouri Baptist University has been canceled. SEMO was scheduled to host NAIA affiliate Missouri Baptist on Nov. 28, but the Spartans will not be able to make the trip to Cape Girardeau due to their COVID-19 quarantine guidelines.

Athletics Alumni Spotlight: Roderick Johnson

Former Southeast Missouri men's basketball standout Roderick Johnson is in this week's Alumni Spotlight brought to you by SoutheastHEALTH. Johnson is a name SEMO nation won't forget. He was a fixture of the program's only NCAA Tournament team in 1999-2000. Johnson was inducted into the SEMO Athletics Hall of Fame with the rest of that squad which also won the program's only Ohio Valley Conference regular-season and tournament titles.
