Cooling-to-Heating Transition, Winter Weather Preparations Beginning in University Buildings

It’s that time of year again when the University transitions from cooling to heating. This change-over can lead to customer inquiries about buildings being too hot or too cold. Facilities Maintenance personnel have been working to shut down certain cooling systems and perform the proper maintenance to bring heating systems online. Facilities Management is working to ensure a seamless changeover, but weather variations may cause unanticipated fluctuations to interior temperatures as personnel progress through this transition. Facilities Management apologizes for any inconvenience this may cause and appreciates your patience as it performs these necessary tasks. For more information, contact Brent Pfeiffer, building maintenance supervisor, at (573) 986-4923.
