Open Forum Nov. 20 for Dean of Extended Studies Finalist

The campus community is invited to an open forum Wednesday, Nov. 20, to meet finalist David Heflin who is interviewing for the position of Dean of Extended Studies. The open forum is scheduled for 9 a.m. in the University Center Redhawks Room.

Open forums were held for finalists James Frakes on Nov. 13 and Nathan Bullock on Nov. 18.

SEMO Cold Case Club Meeting Nov. 20

The Southeast community is invited to an informational presentation about a real cold case currently being examined by faculty and students in the Department of History and Anthropology. The presentation is scheduled for noon on Wednesday, Nov. 20, in the University Center Tribute Room. Dr. Jennifer Bengtson, associate professor of anthropology, will present information on a set of unidentified human remains found in Charleston, Missouri, in 1979. She will examine how these remains came to be in the University's custody, what is known about the person they represent, and what is being done to identify them. Athletics Donates to Redhawk Food Pantry

Southeast Missouri Athletics collected donations to benefit the Redhawk Food Pantry at the basketball exhibition games on Oct. 30 and Nov. 2. Rowdy recently delivered 67 pounds of food and $342 to benefit the Redhawk Food Pantry.
