Vargas Recommends All Southeast Campuses to go Tobacco Free

President Carlos Vargas announced to Administrative Council today that he will recommend to the Board of Regents that all campuses of Southeast Missouri State University become tobacco free.  Subject to Board approval, it is anticipated the proposed policy would become effective with the Fall 2017 semester.

The President indicated he will accept input regarding procedures for implementation of the proposed policy directed to president@semo.edu   The final policy with procedures will be presented as a motion to the Board of Regents at the Feb. 17, 2017, meeting.
