Department of Mathematics Launches New Online Math Placement Test

The Department of Mathematics' new math placement test is now available for potential students in completing the Logical Systems requirement for their chosen major. The online program, which replaces COMPASS, is designed to place students in the appropriate course to successfully begin their academic program. An informational meeting about the new test will be held at noon on Feb. 22 in Rhodes Hall Room 121. For information about the new placement test and the department's math placement criteria, visit http://semo.edu/math/math-placement.

February Problem of the Month Contest Now Available

Baseball Opens Season This Weekend

Southeast’s baseball team officially begins the Andy Sawyers era with four games in Texas this weekend. The Redhawks face UT Arlington and Stephen F. Austin today, Feb. 17. Southeast then squares off against UT Arlington on Saturday, Feb. 18 and Stephen F. Austin on Sunday, Feb. 19. All games are broadcast live on the radio at ESPN 92.9 FM.

2017 Football Schedule Announced

Southeast Missouri will play an 11-game schedule with five matchups at Houck Stadium in 2017. SEMO's non-conference slate includes Kansas, Dayton and regional-rival Southern Illinois. The Redhawks kick off their season at Football Bowl Subdivision Kansas on Sept. 2.

Men’s Basketball Opens Big Three-Game Homestand Tomorrow

Southeast Missouri, which is one game out of first in the Ohio Valley Conference (OVC) West Division, opens a big three-game homestand against OVC West Division leader UT Martin on Saturday, Feb. 18. Tip-off is set for 11 a.m. at the Show Me Center. Saturday’s game will be televised live on the American Sports Network (locally on MyTV 49).
