Dedication of Covered Cattle Feeding Facility Today at Barton Center

A dedication ceremony for a new cattle feeding facility will be held at 10 a.m. today at the David M. Barton Agriculture Research Center. The facility will launch a collaborative effort -- in partnership with the Missouri Department of Agriculture, the Missouri Agriculture Foundation and the Missouri Beef Initiative Council -- to study the agricultural and economic benefits of covered feeding in an effort to enhance Missouri's cattle industry.

Redhawks Slam Murray State, Clinch OVC West Division Title

Six players scored double figures and Antonius Cleveland led the way with a double-double 13 points and 11 rebounds to send Southeast Missouri to an 82-69 victory over Murray State Thursday night at the Show Me Center. With the win, SEMO moved into sole possession of first place in the Ohio Valley Conference West Division. The Redhawks also clinched a spot in next week's OVC Tournament. And, to top it all off, SEMO swept the Racers in a season for the first time in 74 years.

Men’s Basketball Closes Out Regular-Season Saturday

Southeast Missouri closes out its 2016-2017 regular season when it hosts Austin Peay tomorrow, Feb. 25. Tip-off is set for 4:15 p.m. at the Show Me Center. Seniors Antonius Cleveland, Trey Kellum, Jamaal Calvin and Eli Sample will be honored prior to the game. With a victory over the Governors, the Redhawks will win the OVC West Division title and lock up the No. 2 seed (and receive a double bye to the semifinals) in next week's OVC Tournament. All games are broadcast live on the radio at ESPN 92.9 FM and Real Rock 99.3 FM. Video can be accessed online at the OVC Digital Network.

The Redhawk baseball team hosts Western Illinois in its home-opener this weekend. Southeast begins a three-game series against the Leathernecks today, Feb. 24. First pitch is 3 p.m. at Capaha Field.
