Softball Hosts Tournament in Oxford, Alabama

Cleveland Named First-Team All-OVC; Mahoney Wins OVC Freshman of the Year

Senior Antonius Cleveland and freshman Denzel Mahoney earned All-Ohio Valley Conference honors this season. Cleveland garnered first-team accolades for the first time in his career, while Mahoney won the league’s coveted Freshman of the Year award. Mahoney was also a second-team selection and landed a spot on the All-Newcomer Team.

Southeast Missouri guard Denzel Mahoney was recently added to the Third Annual College Court Report (CCR) Mid-Major Freshman of the Year Contest. CCR assembled 64 of the top freshmen in the country who played for programs outside of the power conferences. The bracket includes four regions of 16 players each.
