Cleveland Competes in College Slam Dunk Championship Thursday

Antonius Cleveland is the first Southeast Missouri player to make the College Slam Dunk Championship and will join seven other players at the event on Thursday, March 30. The 2017 State Farm College Slam Dunk and 3-Point Championships will be televised live on ESPN at 9 p.m., CT, from Grand Canyon University’s GCU Arena in Phoenix, Arizona. Track and Field Plays Host to Joey Haines Invitational

Southeast’s men’s and women’s track & field teams play host to their annual Joey Haines Invitational on Friday-Saturday, March 31-April 1. Events start at 3:30 p.m. Friday and 11 a.m. Saturday. The two-day event will be held at the Abe Stuber Track and Field Complex.

Football Youth Clinic is Saturday

The Fourth Annual Southeast Missouri Football Free Youth Clinic is Saturday, April 1, at Houck Stadium. This year's event, presented by Academy Sports, is open to boys and girls entering grades 1-8. Registration begins at 9 a.m. with the clinic to follow from 10 a.m.-noon. Participants will receive a free T-shirt (limited to the first 200 kids that register) and learn fundamentals and skills from Redhawk student-athletes. Pre-registration is available here.

Soccer Announces Pair of Summer Camps, Offers Faculty/Staff Discounts

Southeast Missouri soccer has announced a pair of summer camps, an Elite Camp in June for boys and girls ages 6-14 and an ID Camp in July for girls ages 13-19. Southeast faculty and staff are eligible for a $50 discount for full-day campers and $25 for half day.

Spring Radio Shows Start Next Week

A series of five radio shows featuring Southeast coaches and other guests will be held this spring at Wings Etc. The shows will take place from noon-1 p.m. on Tuesdays. This year’s spring schedule includes the following dates and Wings Etc. locations: April 4 in Cape Girardeau, April 11 in Jackson, April 18 in Cape Girardeau, April 25 in Jackson, and May 2 in Cape Girardeau.
