Submissions for Convocation/SE 101 Packets Due July 14

To help welcome new Redhawks to campus, New Student Programs provides students attending Convocation and SE 101 sessions on Aug. 18 with a folder full of information from various campus departments that will assist them in their transition to campus and make them aware of available opportunities. Examples of past items have included coupons, colorful flyers and bookmarks. All included items should have mass appeal to new students. To include something in this year's packet, contact New Student Programs at nsp@semo.edu with details of the item you would like to include. IT Launches Automated Password Recovery Application

Information Technology (IT) has released an automated password recovery application that will send a recovery code to Southeast employees' email address or cell phone listed in their SE Portal. To access the application, visit the Information Technology website and select the green "Password Reset" button in the right margin. Never be locked out again. Employees are encouraged to review and update their contact information to use this new system. Tutorials for adding or updating email and phone numbers are available here.

Blomquist Qualifies for USATF Junior Championships

Southeast Missouri thrower Logan Blomquist qualified for the USA Track & Field Junior Outdoor Championships scheduled for June 22-25 in Sacramento, California. Blomquist, the 2017 Ohio Valley Conference Outdoor Track & Field Freshman of the Year, will compete in the discus at 12:20 p.m. Saturday. A native of Pleasant Hill, Missouri, Blomquist achieved a personal best and qualifying mark of 174' (53.03m) as one of 16 competitors in the event. That throw currently ranks seventh in school history.
