Dr. Dana Schwieger to be Honored at 2017 Educator of the Year Reception

The Southeast community is invited to the 2017 Educator of the Year Reception by the Cape Girardeau Area Chamber of Commerce on Oct. 17 from 4-6 p.m. in the Show Me Center. Dr. Dana Schwieger, professor of management information systems (MIS) in the Department of Accounting, will be recognized as one of five Educator of the Year recipients and will be presented the prestigious Crystal Apple Award, a $500 check, resolutions of honor from the Missouri Legislature and a commemorative video at the reception.
