Dedication Oct. 23 for Missouri Wall of Fame Portrait of Southeast Alumnus Gen. Seth McKee

A dedication ceremony for the portrait of Southeast alumnus Gen. Seth McKee on the Missouri Wall of Fame in downtown Cape Girardeau is scheduled for 3 p.m. on Monday, Oct. 23. McKee, who attended Southeast Missouri State Teachers College from 1934 to 1937, was the oldest-living American four-star general and highest ranking D-Day survivor at the time of his death. A reception will be held after the event at 4 p.m. at the Cape River Heritage Museum.
