Safe Trick or Treat Oct. 30 at Towers

Southeast Serves and Towers East are hosting the Fourth Annual Safe Trick or Treat on Sunday, Oct. 29, from 4-6 p.m. This free event will be located at the Southeast Towers Complex. Geared for children ages 10 and under, kids and their guardian(s) will visit designated floors in the residence hall to trick or treat with the college residents and engage in activities run by various student organizations. 2018 Annual Benefits Open Enrollment Underway

Annual Benefits Open Enrollment for 2018 began on Monday, Oct. 23, and will continue through Friday, Nov. 3. Both full-time and part-time benefit eligible employees should process their 2018 benefit elections using Banner Self Service. Dually employed spouses with dependent coverage should have received an enrollment packet via email. Walk-in open labs are currently being offered for employees who are comfortable with Banner Self Service but require one-on-one assistance with completing their online enrollment. The lab schedule can be found on the Human Resources website at http://www.semo.edu/hr/open-enrollment.html. Questions should be directed to Human Resources at (573) 651-2206.

'Take Away Friday' Continues with 'Ask Verona'

The "Take-Away Friday" series of faculty development workshops presents "Ask HR” at noon Oct. 27 in Towers Complex Room 110. This week, the Center for Scholarship in Teaching and Learning hosts Verona Lambert, the director of student accounts in Student Financial Services. Lambert addresses the collection of money for events and compliance; tuition benefits for faculty and staff; and study abroad programs and domestic trips. Haunted River Campus Oct. 27

Haunted River Campus events will be held from 7-9 p.m. Oct. 27 in the Cultural Arts Center on the Southeast Missouri State University River Campus. Activities include pumpkin carving, cookie decorating, a photo booth, a scary flash mob and a zombie infested gallery. Cost is $2.

BOGO Faculty/Staff Tickets Available for 'Dracula'

Buy one get one free tickets are available for "Dracula" presented by The Conservatory of Theatre and Dance at the River Campus at 7:30 p.m. Oct. 31 and Nov. 2. A maximum of two tickets may be purchased with two free tickets received. Tickets can be purchased the River Campus Box Office, Show Me Center Box Office or Athletics Box Office, and you must present your faculty/staff ID.

Soccer Team Enters First Round of OVC Tournament Friday

The Southeast women's soccer team will face Austin Peay in the first round of the Ohio Valley Conference (OVC) tournament at 5:30 p.m. Friday, Oct. 27, in Nashville, Tennessee. Southeast is the fifth seed behind Belmont, seeded fourth, and ahead of UT Martin, seeded sixth. Murray State finished the regular season as the number one seed in the OVC. Austin Peay is seeded eighth. Southeast tied Austin Peay 1-1 earlier this season. Video is available online at the OVC Digital Network. Live stats can be accessed at GoSoutheast.com.

Volleyball Faces UT-Martin at Home Tonight
