An Action Project is an institutional quality improvement project with a scale that typically requires one or more years to complete. Executive Chef's Table at Redhawks Market Nov. 1

Join the Chartwells team to welcome their new Campus Executive Chef Kevin Yarbrough to Southeast. Redhawks Market in the University Center will host a special Chef's Table at American Classics from 11 a.m.-1:30 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 1, with a specialty meal available for purchase. Kevin will be preparing Low Country Shrimp and Grits, which includes creamy stone ground grits, cajun spiced shrimp and house cured tasso ham with herb pan gravy.

2018 Annual Benefits Open Enrollment Underway

Annual Benefits Open Enrollment for 2018 began on Monday, Oct. 23, and will continue through Friday, Nov. 3. Both full-time and part-time benefit eligible employees should process their 2018 benefit elections using Banner Self Service. Dually employed spouses with dependent coverage should have received an enrollment packet via email. Walk-in open labs are currently being offered for employees who are comfortable with Banner Self Service but require one-on-one assistance with completing their online enrollment. The lab schedule can be found on the Human Resources website at http://www.semo.edu/hr/open-enrollment.htmlQuestions should be directed to Human Resources at (573) 651-2206.

Men’s Basketball Adds Extra Exhibition Game

Southeast Missouri's men's basketball team will host Missouri Southern in a charity exhibition game on Saturday, Nov. 4. Tip-off is set for 6 p.m. at the Show Me Center. Proceeds from the game will go to the American Red Cross to assist with hurricane relief efforts. Tickets require a minimum $5 donation at the door. Southeast sought and received a waiver from the NCAA to play the extra exhibition contest.
