University Center Main Lobby, Information Services Remodel Begins Nov. 10

Over the next three weeks, the University Center third floor main lobby and Information and ID Services areas will be getting new paint, carpet and furniture. Full services will continue at Information and ID Services, and confirmed reservations will be accommodated. Lobby seating will be removed today, Nov. 10, and will return between Nov. 27-29. Lounge seating will remain available on the second floor in the Center for Student Involvement and on the fourth floor in the main corridor. The campus network will be unavailable from 7-8 a.m. Sunday, Nov. 12, while Information Technology installs new campus core switches as part of the Campus Network Upgrade Project. While not anticipated, the network downtime could extend past the 8 a.m. deadline. New Check Run Schedule Beginning in Accounts Payable

The University check run schedule is being modified. Checks will be issued once per week starting the week of Nov. 27, 2017, (check date will be Friday, Dec. 1, 2017.) Please remember to have all necessary paperwork submitted into the Accounts Payable office by Thursdays at 5 p.m. for the following week’s Friday check run. The Department of Mathematics congratulates undergraduates Arham Chowdhury, Andrew Crutcher, Dhanurja De Silva and Zirou Qiu for correctly solving the October Problem of the Month. Fault Line Film Festival Gala, Film Screening is Tonight

The Eighth Annual Fault Line Film Festival Gala event and film screening is scheduled for 7 p.m. tonight, Nov. 10, in the Forrest H. Rose Theatre, with an awards ceremony immediately following. A screening of films entered by local students also will be held at 7 p.m. Saturday,  Nov. 11, in Rose Theatre. All events are free. The cinematic talents and skills of Southeast Missouri State University students, regional high school students and students from across Missouri and surrounding states will be display.

Volleyball Closes Out Regular Season at Home

The Redhawk volleyball team closes out its regular season at home with two matches this weekend. Southeast hosts SIU Edwardsville at 6:30 p.m. tonight, Nov.10, and Eastern Illinois at 2 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 11. Both matches are at Houck Field House.
