Kent Library Athenaeum Series Presents 'Bound for the Midwest' Jan. 31
The next installment in the Kent Library Athenaeum Series, "Bound for the Midwest," is scheduled for noon on Wednesday, Jan. 31, in Sadie's Place in Kent Library. In this Athenaeum presentation, Dr. Joni Hand, associate professor of art history, will discuss her new book, "Bound for the Midwest: Medieval and Early Modern Religious Manuscripts in the Charles Luce Harrison Collection," published in October 2017. Hand will share her insights on Harrison’s collecting habits and his relationship with his book buyer, Frank Glenn. She will also discuss some of the books from the collection, focusing on unique characteristics of each. There will be a book signing immediately after the presentation. The event is free and open to the public.
