CSTL Presents 'One Faculty Handbook, Many Ways of Following It' March 23

The "Take-Away Friday" series of faculty development workshops continues with “One Faculty Handbook, Many Ways of Following It” at noon March 23 in Towers Complex Room 110. This week, the Center for Scholarship in Teaching and Learning (CSTL) presents a panel of department chairs to discuss governance and collegiality practiced in their departments. Topics include departmental structures and operations, decision making, planning, curriculum, faculty hiring and other personnel processes, and areas of management or leadership. The discussion will include both the parameters established by the Faculty Handbook and the various ways those parameters are interpreted and applied in the different departments. Register here.

Softball Hosts Mizzou Wednesday

2018 Hall of Fame Luncheon Set for April 7

Southeast Missouri's Department of Athletics will host a Hall of Fame Luncheon & Induction to honor the 1998 Baseball Team on Saturday, April 7 from 11:30 a.m.-1 p.m., in Kem Hall in the Aleen Vogel Wehking Alumni Center. The special event is open to the public. Cost of the luncheon and induction is $25 per adult and $10 for youth (10 and under). Table sponsorships -- which include eight luncheon reservations and sponsor recognition at the event -- are also available for $200. Click Here for reservations. The RSVP deadline is March 26.

Football Youth Clinic is March 24

Southeast Missouri’s football program will host a free Youth Clinic on Saturday, March 24, at Houck Field. The clinic is open to boys and girls in grades 1-8 and begins with registration at 9 a.m. Participants will receive a free T-shirt (limited to the first 200 youth to register). Football Opens Spring Drills

Southeast’s football team began its series of 15 spring practices on Monday, March 19, at Houck Field. The Redhawks will hold practices on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Saturdays over the next four weeks. Southeast will hold scrimmages on March 31 and April 7 and 14 (Spring Game).
