Kent Library Announces Temporary Suspension of MOBIUS Beginning May 14

Kent Library is in the process of upgrading the Library Management System. To complete a successful migration process, lending and borrowing from other MOBIUS libraries will be suspended temporarily beginning Monday, May 14, and will resume as soon as possible in July. While MOBIUS lending is unavailable, book requests must be made through Interlibrary Loan at https://library.semo.edu/find-materials/interlibrary-loan. Every effort will be made to minimize any disruptions during this period. The College of Science, Technology and Agriculture (COSTA) will host a retirement reception from 3:30-5 p.m. on Thursday, May 10, in the atrium of Dempster Hall. Remind Students to Return Rental Textbooks by May 14

Faculty and staff are asked to remind students to return rental textbooks no later than 4 p.m. Monday, May 14. For a list of times and locations accepting textbooks, visit the Textbook Rental website at www.semo.edu/textbookrental. Students taking summer online classes may pick up rental textbooks during Finals Week in Textbook Rental. Writing Lab Announces Summer Hours

The Writing Lab, located in 201 Memorial Hall, is open 10 a.m.-3 p.m. Mondays-Thursdays during the summer. Appointments are not necessary. The Writing Lab provides free, individualized assistance for all students, first-year to graduate, and faculty who seek help with their writing. The Writing Lab will assist individuals at any stage in the writing process. Students may also submit a draft for review via the Online Writing Lab at http://www.semo.edu/writing/online_submit.html. Softball Heads to OVC Tournament

Fourth-seeded Southeast Missouri faces fifth-seeded SIU Edwardsville in the first round of the 2018 Ohio Valley Conference Softball Tournament on Wednesday, May 9. Track and Field Heads to OVC Outdoor Championships

Southeast’s men’s and women’s track and field teams head to the OVC Outdoor Championships this week. This year’s event, hosted by Tennessee Tech, will be held Thursday-Saturday, May 10-12.
