UI100 Students to Use Second Edition of Custom Textbook This Fall
This fall semester, new Southeast students will once again use the custom UI100 textbook in their First-Year Seminar course. The second edition of "First-Year Seminar: Connecting to Southeast" includes chapters written by faculty, staff and students at Southeast with new chapters on The Purpose of a General Education, Social Media Communication, Online Learning at Southeast, and four new student essays on the importance of involvement by Gabe Harman, Justin Ovalle, Anthony Shepard and Taylor Shivelbine. "First-Year Seminar: Connecting to Southeast," second edition, was edited by the UI100 Committee chaired by Dr. Theresa Haug-Belvin, Katie Foshee, Katlyn Griffin, Laurie Wern Overmann and Dr. Shonta Smith. The textbook is available for purchase in the Southeast Bookstore.
