Football Opens Season at Arkansas State Saturday

Southeast Missouri’s football team kicks off its 2018 season at Football Bowl Subdivision and Sun Belt Conference member Arkansas State on Saturday, Sept. 1. Kickoff is set for 6 p.m. at Centennial Bank Stadium. All games are broadcast live on the radio at Real Rock 99.3 FM. Video can be accessed live on ESPN+. Live stats are available at AStateStats.com. Tickets are available in the Athletic Ticket Office for $25 each. The Redhawks fan section is located in section PP of Centennial Bank Stadium. Redhawk fans are encouraged to meet for pre-game tailgating in the Paid General Parking grass lot located to the south of the baseball stadium. Parking is $10 per vehicle. Free parking is also available in a grass lot nearby, located on the south side of Aggie Road. Parking lots open at 8 a.m. To view a parking map, click here.

#BigMacSack is Back for 2018 Football Season

Southeast Missouri Athletics and McDonald's are pleased to bring back #BigMacSack for the Redhawks 2018 football season which kicks off Saturday at Arkansas State. If the Southeast defense records a quarterback sack, Big Macs will be buy one, get one free the day after the game. In order to redeem the offer, fans will need to present the McDonald's associate the #BigMacSack promotional graphic, found on the @GoSoutheast official social media accounts (including Twitter, Facebook, and Instagram). Southeast hosts the Redhawks Invitational today and Saturday, Aug. 31-Sept. 1. The Redhawks face Louisiana-Monroe at 12:30 p.m. and Redford at 7 p.m. tonight at Houck Field House. They face Northwestern State at 2 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 1. at Saxony Lutheran High School.

Southeast Missouri men's and women's cross country opens its 2018 season today, Aug. 31. at the Saluki Invite against Austin Peay, Murray State, Southern Illinois University-Edwardsville (SIUE) and host, Southern Illinois (SIU), at the SIU Cross Country Course in Carbondale, Illinois. The Redhawk men's team will race at 5:30 p.m. followed by the women at 6:15 p.m.
