Faculty/Staff Portrait Day Sept. 10

The next Portrait Day is scheduled for 11:30 a.m.-1:30 p.m. on Monday, Sept. 10, in the Magill Hall second floor lounge for faculty and staff members wishing to have a new portrait-style photograph taken for departmental Web pages or other publications. No appointments are necessary. Additional Portrait Days scheduled this semester will be Oct. 16 from 11:30 a.m.-1:30 p.m. in Kent Library, third floor; Nov. 14 from 11:30 a.m.-1:30 p.m. in the River Campus Cultural Arts Center atrium; and Dec. 13 from 11:30 a.m.-1:30 p.m. in the Magill Hall, second floor lounge.

IT Offering Office 365 Training Sessions

Information Technology encourages faculty and staff to become more proficient in Office 365 applications through participation in sessions that demonstrate and provide practice on Microsoft's applications collection: OneDrive, Forms, Flow, Power BI, OneNote, Sway, Planner, Stream, and Teams. Training on advanced features for Outlook, PowerPoint and OneNote are also included. Sessions are one hour long and offered in face-to-face or Zoom format. Participants may attend any number of sessions. Register through Skillsoft at https://semo.skillport.com. Both face-to-face and Zoom session options are located in "Instructor Led Training Sessions" under "Upcoming Events."

Discount Faculty/Staff Tickets Available for 'Cello Melodies from Around the World'

Hall Named OVC and STATS Defensive Player of the Week

Southeast Missouri junior inside linebacker Zach Hall was named this week’s Ohio Valley Conference Defensive Player of the Week and STATS National Defensive Player of the Week. Hall had a career-high 22 tackles, one forced fumble and a tackle for loss in SEMO’s season-opener at Arkansas State on Sept. 1. Hall’s 22 tackles are the most by any player in NCAA Football this season.
