'Take-Away Friday Continues Sept. 14 with 'Interpreting SmartEvals'

The "Take-Away Friday" series of faculty development workshops presents “Interpreting SmartEvals” at noon Sept. 14 in the Jean Ann Whitaker Model Classroom in the EDvolution Center in the Mark F. Scully Building Room 209. This week, the Center for Scholarship in Teaching and Learning hosts Dr. Steve Nettlehorst, assistant professor of psychology, Dr. Eu Gene Chin, assistant professor of psychology, and Dr. Timothy Schmidt, associate professor of music. Soccer Opens Ohio Valley Conference Play This Week

Help Increase Cancer Awareness by Participating in the Football Pink Up Jersey Auction

In an effort to help increase cancer awareness and prevention, the Southeast Missouri football team will again wear special Pink Up jerseys during the team's Pink Up game against Jacksonville State on Oct. 20. The jerseys will be available for purchase until noon Oct. 3 to raise money for Saint Francis Healthcare System's Pink Up campaign. This collaboration, led by fifth-year head coach Tom Matukewicz, is a way for SEMO football to celebrate survivors and honor those who have lost their battles with cancer.

Malloy Named OVC Newcomer of the Week

Sophomore outside hitter Laney Malloy was named the Ohio Valley Conference Newcomer of the Week, the league announced on Monday, Sept. 10. Malloy led the Redhawk volleyball team offensively this past week with 63 kills over four matches to produce a team high of 68.5 points.
