Matukewicz Wins OVC Coach of the Year, Terry Earns Offensive Player of the Year, Hall Takes Defensive Player of the Year Honors

Southeast Missouri claimed three of the four major 2018 Ohio Valley Conference (OVC) football awards in voting conducted by league head coaches and communication directors today. Senior running back Marquis Terry was named Offensive Player of the Year, while junior linebacker Zach Hall was tabbed the Defensive Player of the Year. The duo's coach, Tom Matukewicz, earned the Roy Kidd OVC Coach of the Year honor.

Redhawks Host Stony Brook in First Round of FCS Playoffs Saturday

#20 Southeast Missouri (8-3) will host #15 Stony Brook (7-4) in the first round of the 2018 NCAA Division I Football Championship Saturday. Kickoff is set for 1:04 p.m., CT, at Houck Field. Matukewicz Named Finalist for Eddie Robinson National Coach of the Year Award

Southeast Head Football Coach Tom Matukewicz is a finalist for the Eddie Robinson National Coach of the Year Award. Fifteen coaches who have helped write some of the great storylines in college football were selected Monday as finalists for the 32nd STATS FCS Eddie Robinson Award, which honors the national coach of the year.
