SEMO Giving Day an Extraordinary Success - All 12 Projects Funded

Twelve campaigns were fulfilled on SEMO Giving Day thanks to the generosity of more than 200 alumni, faculty, staff, students and friends. The total raised was $23,275, thanks, in part, to a generous match by Dr. Shelton "Butch" and Glenda Smith of St. Louis, Missouri, and Brady Barke, director of athletics at Southeast, and his family. The University Foundation wishes to thank everyone who participated and made the day a huge success.

History Students Presenting on New Medieval Manuscript Acquisitions Dec. 3 and 7

History students in EH362 Medieval History will present "New Medieval Manuscript Acquisitions in Kent Library" from noon-1:15 p.m. Dec. 3 and 7 at Sadie’s Place in Kent Library. Each student will present his or her research on historical contexts to one of the medieval manuscripts acquired this semester by Special Collections and Archives in Kent Library. The talks will launch a new display of pamphlets and user guides on the manuscript collection.

The Roadshow Christmas Cancelled

The Roadshow Christmas originally scheduled at the Show Me Center for Dec. 2 has been cancelled. Credit card tickets purchases made at ShowMeCenter.biz, over the phone and at the Show Me Center Box Office will be automatically refunded within 72 hours, however banking institutions may take five to 10 business days to post the credit back to customer's accounts. Cash purchases made at the Show Me Center Box Office will need to come to the box office with a photo ID to receive their refund. BOGO Faculty/Staff Tickets Available for 'Southeast Dance Project'

Buy one get one free tickets are available for the "Southeast Dance Project" presented by The Jeanine Larson Dobbins Conservatory of Theatre and Dance at the River Campus at 7:30 p.m. Dec. 7. A maximum of two tickets may be purchased with two free tickets received. Tickets can be purchased at the River Campus Box Office, Show Me Center Box Office or Athletics Box Office, and you must present your faculty/staff ID.

Football Watch Party Scheduled for Saturday at Wings Etc. in Cape Girardeau and Jackson

Southeast Missouri and Wings Etc. will host a football watch party for Saturday's NCAA Division I Football Championship second round playoff matchup between #20 Southeast Missouri (9-3) and #2 Weber State (9-2).  Kickoff is set for 3:04 p.m., CT. A watch party will be held at the Wings Etc. locations in both Cape Girardeau, 3047 William Street, and Jackson, 2003 East Jackson Blvd.
