University Marketing Offering Web Editor Training Feb. 4

The University website attracts thousands of visits every day from prospective students, parents, faculty, staff and community members. University Marketing is offering web editor training from 9-10:30 a.m. on Monday, Feb. 4 in the Kent Library Room 110 Training Lab. In this training participants will learn how to use the OUCampus CMS to edit department websites to keep information accurate, promote the University brand and provide a positive user experience with emphasis on recruitment. Registration is available through Skillsoft.

Wilson Named OVC Male Track Athlete of the Week

Senior sprinter Haile Wilson was named the Ohio Valley Conference (OVC) Male Track Athlete of the Week on Wednesday, Jan. 9. Wilson, a St. Louis, Missouri native, placed first in the 55 meters at the Southeast vs. Southern Illinois University-Edwardsville (SIUE) dual meet on Friday, Dec. 7, setting a meet record of 6.38. He ranks first on the OVC 60-meter best list.
