Southeast Participating in Statewide Tornado Drill on Tuesday, March 5

As a part of Severe Weather Awareness Month in March, Southeast will participate in the 2019 Statewide Tornado Drill on Tuesday, March 5, at 10 a.m. In case of widespread severe weather, the drill will be postponed until Thursday, March 7, also at 10 a.m. The drill will begin when initiated by the National Weather Service. Southeast will deploy its warning sirens along with an SE Alerts text message and email that points to safety tips and severe weather guidance. Students, faculty and staff will receive an email on Monday, March 4, as a reminder of Tuesday’s scheduled drill.

Fiscal Year-End Deadline Memo Issued

The annual fiscal year-end deadlines memo has been issued. The fiscal year-end memo outlines the due dates for departments to complete certain transactions related to FY19 activity, such as the last date to request a bid for FY19 or due date for requesting reimbursement for travel in FY19. New, Optional Chrome River SNAP App Now Available

A new, optional free app to simplify uploading receipt images into Chrome River is now available. Chrome River SNAP allows users to upload receipt images using mobile data or an Internet connection to their Chrome River Receipt Gallery by using a phone camera or third-party app. Quick instructions for downloading, setting-up and using the app are available on the Accounts Payable's Chrome River webpage at https://semo.edu/accountspayable/chromeriver.html.

Faculty/Staff Portrait Day March 4

The next Portrait Day is scheduled for 11:30 a.m.-1:30 p.m. March 4 in the River Campus Cultural Arts Center atrium for faculty and staff members wishing to have a portrait-style photograph taken for departmental web pages or other publications. No appointments are necessary. Additional Portrait Days this semester will be April 4, from 11:30 a.m.-1:30 p.m. in Kent Library, third floor; and May 1, from 11:30 a.m.-1:30 p.m. in the Magill Hall second floor lounge.

Softball Travels to Central Arkansas Classic

The Redhawk softball team hits the road for its fourth-straight tournament this season when it heads to the Central Arkansas Classic in Conway, Arkansas. The Redhawks will face University of Louisiana Monroe and Central Arkansas today, March 1; Missouri State University on Saturday, March 2; and Coppin State University on Sunday, March 3. The Redhawk softball team home-opener against Loyola-Chicago scheduled for Tuesday, March 5, has been canceled due to impending frigid conditions. The double header will not be rescheduled.

 Southeast Missouri women's tennis hosts a pair of dual meets with Bradley and Louisiana Tech Saturday, March  2, and Monday, March 4, at the McCracken County High School Tennis Indoor Facility in Paducah, Kentucky. Southeast faces Bradley Saturday at 8:30 a.m. and then takes on Louisiana Tech Monday at 11 a.m. Both meets were moved from the Redhawks Tennis Complex to the McCracken County High School Tennis Indoor Facility due to inclement weather on Saturday and Monday.
