Barke Introduced as Southeast's Director of Athletics

Brady Barke, who has been serving as the Interim Director of Athletics since July, 2015, was named to the permanent position of Director of Athletics at Southeast Missouri on Tuesday, June 7.

Baseball Ends Record-Setting Season

Southeast's baseball team ended its 2016 season with a 9-4 loss to Louisiana Tech at the NCAA Starkville Regional on Saturday, June 4. The Redhawks compiled a school record 39 wins, won the Ohio Valley Conference regular-season and tournament titles, and made their first NCAA Tournament appearance in 14 years.

 

Ezell Makes Starkville Regional All-Tournament Team

Sophomore second baseman Trevor Ezell was selected to the NCAA Starkville Regional All-Tournament Team.

Lucchesi Earns All-America Honors

Left-handed pitcher Joey Lucchesi became Southeast's first-ever First-Team All-American when he was named to the Louisville Slugger Collegiate Baseball All-America Team. Lucchesi was also a Third-Team All-American by Baseball America. 

Farley Competes at NCAA Championships This Week

Southeast thrower Kevin Farley will compete at the 2016 NCAA Outdoor Track & Field Championships in Eugene, Oregon this week. Farley will participate in the shot put and discus.

Football Unveils New Uniforms

The Redhawks football team will take the field in new uniforms this upcoming 2016 season. Southeast's fresh Nike uniform sets consists of black jerseys and pants for home games and white jerseys and white pants for away contests.

Men's Basketball Offers Discount for Children of Employees

The men's basketball program is offering a discount for children of Southeast employees for its kids camp scheduled July 25-29 at Student Recreation Center-North. Camp is open to kids ages 6-15. Cost is $150 with a discount of $25 off for first child, $50 off for sibling (Ex: First Child - $125; Sibling - $100 for a total of $225). All campers receive a Redhawks T-shirt, Redhawks bracelet and certificate of participation.
