Admissions Launches New Tool to Assist Transfer Students

The Office of Admissions has launched Degree Works Transfer Equivalency, an online tool that provides an unofficial degree audit for prospective transfer students and high school students taking dual enrollment courses. Facilities Management Conducting Customer Service Survey

In the spirit of continual improvement, Facilities Management will send out a customer service survey beginning April 15. The survey will be open until April 30. Facilities Management asks that the campus community take the time to fill out the survey so that improvements can be made on how to respond to submitted work orders and the communication of work efforts.

Self-Insurance for Health Benefits to be Explored at Open Forums April 30

Two open forums that will provide a general overview of what self-insurance for health benefits would mean for both the University and employees are planned for Tuesday, April 30. The first is scheduled for 10 a.m.-noon in Glenn Auditorium of Dempster Hall. The second is slated for 3-5 p.m. in Academic Auditorium. Representatives of Sonus Benefits, a benefits consultant contracted by the University last August, will be on hand to provide information and answer questions. This will be an opportunity to learn more and provide input as the University considers strategies to control long term health insurance costs. The campus community is invited to the forums.

MOSERS Pre-Retirement Seminars Planned April 24-25

MOSERS Retirement Seminars will be held in the University Center's Ballroom B from 1-4 p.m. on Wednesday, April 24, and in the University Center's Program Lounge from 8:30-11:30 a.m. on Thursday, April 25. Both sessions are identical, and the seminar is for all employees who are considering retirement in the near future. Spouses are welcome and encouraged to attend. To register for either the Wednesday or Thursday session, employees should register through the MOSERS website at https://www.mosers.org/Log-In.aspx by Tuesday, April 16. Four Redhawks Will Compete in USA Gymnastics Women's Collegiate National Championships

Anna Kazinska, Mackenzie Slee, Gabrielle Adams and Alana Fischer will represent Southeast Missouri at the USA Gymnastics Women's Collegiate National Championships today, April 12, through Sunday, April 14, in Bridgeport, Connecticut. Kazinska and Fischer will compete in the all-around. Slee will compete on vault and floor exercise. Adams will compete on vault. All four athletes are scheduled to compete in the first of two sessions today, April 12.
