CSTL 'Summer Institute' 2019 Workshop Series Kicks Off May 13, 'This Old Course' Begins May 14

The Center for Scholarship in Teaching and Learning's (CSTL) "Summer Institute" workshop series of faculty development presentation begins May 13. Some of this summer's topics include Moodle Gradebook, Life as an Academic, and Using OneNote for Merit and P&T. The "This Old Course" series also returns beginning May 14, with an eight-part series geared to renovate any course from the foundation up. CSTL Hosting CRT Summer Events

The Center for Scholarship in Teaching and Learning (CSTL) will be hosting events during the summer for Southeast faculty completing their certificate in Culturally Responsive Teaching (CRT). CSTL will be offering events, including a book study, movie discussions and workshops, that will allow participants to earn up to 10 hours of CRT professional development. Remind Students to Return Rented Textbooks by May 13

Faculty and staff are asked to remind students to return rental textbooks no later than 4 p.m. Monday, May 13, to avoid additional charges. A list of times and locations accepting textbooks is available at www.semo.edu/textbookrental. Students taking summer courses may pick up rental textbooks during Finals Week in Textbook Rental. A valid Redhawks ID is required.

Kent Library Announces Summer Reading Recs: 'Beach Reads'

Softball Team Takes on Morehead in Doubleheader Tonight 

Due to expected rain this weekend, the softball Redhawks will take on Morehead State University in a doubleheader at 5 and 7 p.m. tonight, May 3, at the Southeast Softball Complex. Today's games conclude the team's regular-season, and if SEMO sweeps Morehead State, it will earn a share of the Ohio Valley Conference (OVC) regular-season title.
