OMVS Holding School Supplies Drive

The Office of Military & Veteran Services (OMVS) is collecting school supply donations of writing utensils, notebooks and backpacks to assist children at a school in Achin District, Nangarhar Province, Afghanistan. The school supplies will help support the children's access to educational materials to continue their education. Donations will be accepted throughout the summer and may be dropped off at the OMVS in the University Center Room 302.

Self-Insurance Open Forum Information Updated on Portal

Thank you to faculty and staff who attended the April 30 campus open forums related to self-insurance. Human Resources has updated the self-insurance information on the Portal, including the Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ), the PowerPoint presentation and a live recording of the presentations from last week’s open forums. Faculty and staff are encouraged to provide feedback and submit questions through the online form on the Portal, which can be accessed under the Employee tab under University Updates. Feedback and questions can also be submitted to any member of the Benefits Review Subcommittee, and committee members' contact information is posted on the Portal. Employees should continually check the Portal for updates to these informational items in the upcoming summer months.

Deadline May 14 for Dependent Tuition Reimbursement, Employee Fee Waiver Applications for Summer 2019

Applications for Summer 2019 dependent tuition reimbursements and employee fee waivers must be submitted no later than the first day of classes for the summer semester, May 14. To submit an online application, log on to the Southeast portal, click on the Employee SS tab, and then click on the appropriate application link under the Human Resources heading. Dependent Tuition Reimbursement applications for the 2019 academic year are valid through the end of the Summer 2019 semester. Fee waivers for employees should be submitted online no later than the first day of classes for each semester. Winter Intersession will be processed with the Spring semester after spring grades are posted. For more information or questions concerning these programs, contact Human Resources at (573) 651-2206.

Former Southeast President Dobbins to be Inducted into OVC Hall of Fame
