The Missouri National Guard’s Civil Support Team (CST) will conduct a full-scale exercise June 4-5 called Shaken Fury 2019 in locations across Cape Girardeau, including Cheney Hall at Southeast Missouri State University. Decreased Cooling Capacity at Alumni, Innovation, Holcomb

Facilities Management is reporting a decrease in building cooling capacity for the Wehking Alumni Center, the Douglas C. Greene Center for Innovation and Entrepreneurship and the Holcomb Success Center. The chilled water system is currently operating on half capacity. One half of the chiller is down for repairs, which keeps it from producing all of the chilled water needed. Facilities …

Emerson Bridge Repairs Close Fountain Street at River Campus

Due to repairs being made to the Bill Emerson Memorial Bridge, Fountain Street, running in front of the Southeast River Campus, has been closed from Shawnee Parkway (Route 74) to Morgan Oak Street. The street will be reopened to traffic June 15 for the River Campus Summer Arts Festival, July 4 for the Independence Day holiday and Sept. 2 for the Labor Day holiday.  Expected completion is set for Oct. 1, weather permitting.

A retirement reception for Julie Grueneberg, assistant registrar/graduation, is scheduled for 1:30-3:30 p.m. Thursday, May 30, in the Academic Hall Dome Room. The campus community is invited to attend.

Register Now for SEMO Men's Basketball Individual Camp

Registration is open for the Southeast Missouri Men's Basketball Individual Camp scheduled for June 17-20 at the Show Me Center. Cost is $125 for boys ages 5-7 and $195 for boys ages 8-18. Camp sessions will be 9 a.m.-12 p.m. for ages 5-7 and 9 a.m.-4 p.m. for ages 8-18 each day. SEMO Men's Basketball Camps are dedicated to providing basketball camps that are both instructional and informative along with creating a great atmosphere to learn.
