Website Redesign Input Sessions Scheduled for July 9-10

Stamats, a higher education marketing agency hired to assist Southeast in the development of a new semo.edu website, will be on campus July 9 and 10 to gather campus input and share information about the process. This will be a year-long process, and campus input is very important to the success of the project. The campus community is invited to attend any of the July 9-10 sessions, and may register here. A design questionnaire to assist in gathering initial campus feedback is also available at https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/YJ6YKKK.

Tickets Still Available for Southeast Day at Busch 2019

Southeast Day at Busch 2019 will be Sunday, July 28, as the St. Louis Cardinals take on the Houston Astros in a 1:15 p.m. game. Theme tickets for this game are available throughout the stadium. They may be purchased at www.cardinals.com/semo and include a Cardinals/Redhawks co-branded theme hat. Attendees can pick up their theme item and will also be able to join Southeast alumni, staff and friends in the Rita Cabana Pavilion Patio area of Busch Stadium for a pre-game gathering from 11:15 a.m.-1:15 p.m., hosted by the Alumni Association.

Southeast Opens Vandiver Hall to Illinois National Guard Assisting with Flooding

Residence Life will be housing 50 members of the Illinois National Guard who have been mobilized to help sandbagging efforts in East Cape Girardeau. The Guardsmen will be staying in Vandiver Hall and will be eating breakfast and dinner in Towers during their stay at Southeast.

FY20 Faculty and Staff Salary Notification Letters Now Available on Portal

Faculty and staff employees can now access their FY20 salary letters via Employee Self Service under the Employee SS tab by clicking on “View Salary Letter” under the Human Resources section.  Employees hired before April 1, 2019, are eligible for the FY20 salary increase.  Salary increases for eligible grant-funded employees will be processed at the beginning of the grant cycle.  Salary increases for coaching staff will be processed with the regular contract renewal cycle.  Employees with an unsatisfactory performance rating during the 2019 performance review cycle will not be eligible for the FY20 salary increase.  Questions concerning FY20 salary letters should be directed to Human Resources at ext. 2206.
