Summer Concrete Repairs Announced

Facilities Management is repairing concrete at various locations across campus. The campus community is asked to use caution when driving or walking near construction sites. Parking Lot 1-21 Closed for New Lighting Installation July 22-31

A majority of Parking Lot 1-21 located across from Vandiver Hall on Henderson Ave. will be closed to install new parking lot lighting from July 22-31. The closed portion of the lot will be barricaded and use will be restricted. Facilities Management apologizes for any inconvenience. Online Teaching Academy Now Accepting Applications

Southeast Online is hosting a second cohort of the Online Teaching Academy (OTA) during the 2019-2020 academic year. OTA consists of five one-day masterclasses and a group project in the fall and spring semesters. At each masterclass, participants will hear from national leaders in online teaching and learning. There are also optional labs for greater experiential learning opportunities. Applications are due by Aug. 12, and are available online. All faculty members are encouraged to apply. For more information about OTA, click here.



Jason Collins Joins Redhawks Gymnastics Staff

Jason Collins was hired as assistant gymnastics coach at Southeast Missouri on Tuesday, July 16. Collins comes to SEMO after spending one season at Yale University. Prior to Yale, he worked as the vice president, chief athletic office, director of men's gymnastics and women's elite team coach at EVO Athletics.

Fischer and Canada Finish Fourth at 2019 FISU Summer Universiade

Southeast Missouri junior Alana Fischer and Team Canada earned fourth in the women's artistic gymnastics team event at the 2019 FISU (International University Sports Federation) Summer Universiade held July 5 at PalaVesuvio Hall. Fischer along with her teammates Denelle Pedrick and Jessica Dowling totaled a team score of 97.700 for fourth in the seven-team competition.
