'Youth Mental First Aid' Workshop Being Offered on Campus

A free workshop titled “Youth Mental Health First Aid” is being offered by the Southeast Regional Support Center Sept. 20 on campus. This workshop teaches a five-step action plan to offer initial help to young people showing signs of a mental illness or in a crisis, and connect them with the appropriate professional, peer, social or self help care. Redhawks Visit St. Jude Children's Research Hospital

The Southeast Missouri football team visited St. Jude Children's Research Hospital on Friday, Sept. 2. The Redhawks donated teddy bears and other items, along with a check for over $500 to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, which operates at a cost of $2.2 million daily.
