Cleaning Supply Drive this Saturday to Benefit SafeHouse for Women

Southeast Serves is hosting a cleaning supply drive for the SafeHouse for Women Saturday, Sept. 17. The SafeHouse is working to open a new shelter to serve the women and children of Cape Girardeau who have experienced domestic violence. Southeast Serves is collecting any and all cleaning supplies, which can be dropped off at donation boxes located at the University Center ID Desk, as well as Towers Front Desk. 'Clubbing with the Arts' Exhibit to Open Sept. 21

The Art Guild will host the exhibition “Clubbing with the Arts” in the Dobbins Hallway Gallery in the Kenneth and Jeanine Dobbins River Campus Center from Sept. 21-Oct. 19. The exhibit features pieces by students who are members of Southeast's Clay Club, American Institute of Graphic Artists Student Group, Printmaking Club and Art Guild. Students who wish to participate in the exhibit must submit pieces by Sept. 20 to Dr. Joni Hand, at the River Campus Cultural Arts Center Room 046.

Redhawks Host Indiana State on Family Weekend

Southeast plays host to Indiana State in its home-opener during Family Weekend Saturday. Kickoff is set for 6 p.m. at Houck Stadium. Redhawks Trivia Night is Oct. 15

Southeast Athletics is hosting a Redhawks Trivia Night on Saturday, Oct. 15 at the Show Me Center. Registration and social hour is from 5-6:30 p.m. with trivia to follow. There will also be a silent auction opening at 5 p.m. The special event, sponsored by The Bank of Missouri, costs $300 for a team of eight. There will be eight different rounds of trivia with eight questions each. Intermission will feature a live auction and celebrity wing-eating contest presented by Wings Etc. Complimentary food and beverages also provided. Register online here
