MOSERS Pre-Retirement Seminars Planned Oct. 30-31

MOSERS Pre-Retirement Seminars will be held in the University Center's Program Lounge from 1-4 p.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 30, and from 8:30-11:30 a.m. on Thursday, Oct. 31. Both sessions are identical, and the seminar is for all employees considering retirement in the near future. Spouses are welcome and encouraged to attend. To register for either session, employees should register through the MOSERS website by Friday, Oct. 18. Review Published of International Exhibition Curated by Southeast Art & Design Faculty

"Encountering Our Indelible Mark," an international, curated exhibition organized by Blake Sanders, Southeast instructor of art, and Hannah Sanders, Southeast associate professor and area head of printmaking, was recently reviewed by internationally exhibited artist Adriane Herman and published by SGC International in a piece titled "Disrupting Our Disruption." Herman's work is included in collections such as The Whitney Museum of American Art. Her publications have appeared in The New Yorker, as well as numerous texts. Herman's review covers the exhibition and its accompanying website, which was recently featured at "IMPACT 10: Encuentro," an international printmaking conference in Santander, Spain. This project received funding from Grants and Research Funding Committee and a 2019 Summer Research/Creative Activity Grant from the Provost’s Office. The show, which featured a dozen global print artists, focused on humanity's impact on culture and the planet.
