Participate in Campus Ready Preparedness Seminar Sept. 21

On Wednesday, Sept. 21, FEMA Region I in collaboration with America's PrepareAthon! will host a Campus Ready preparedness webinar from noon to 1 p.m. focusing on back-to-school actions colleges and universities can implement as the school year begins. The webinar will be followed by a live Twitter chat from 1-2 p.m. with colleges and universities from across the country discussing family communications plans and other best practices. Football Radio Show is Today

Southeast Missouri’s football radio show is at Wings Etc. in Cape Girardeau today. The show airs live from noon-1 p.m. on SEMO ESPN 92.9 FM and 1220 AM. Director of Athletics Brady Barke will be the guest on today’s show.

Soccer Starts Conference Season

Southeast’s women’s soccer team starts its conference season with two games on the road this weekend. The Redhawks play at Eastern Illinois on Friday, Sept. 23 and SIU Edwardsville on Sunday, Sept. 25.

Tennis Continues Fall Season

The Redhawks women’s tennis team heads to the Central Arkansas Invitational on Friday-Saturday, Sept. 23-24.

Athletics is Accepting Hall of Fame Nominations

The Southeast Missouri Department of Athletics is accepting nominations for its Hall of Fame. Nominations to the Southeast Athletics Hall of Fame can be made by anyone and must be submitted to Jeff Honza, Southeast's sports information director. Nominations can be submitted online or sent on the official printable form. Materials can be sent via regular mail to the address listed on the nomination form.

Athletics Offers Complimentary Admission to Faculty, Staff

Southeast Athletics is offering complimentary admission to University faculty and staff for all home women’s soccer, volleyball, gymnastics and women’s basketball standalone contests this 2016-17 season. Faculty and staff must show a valid Southeast ID at these events.
