2020 Annual Benefits Open Enrollment Underway

Annual Benefits Open Enrollment for 2020 continues through Friday, Nov. 8. Both full-time and part-time benefit eligible employees should process their 2020 benefit elections using Banner Self Service.  Dually employed spouses with dependent coverage should have received an enrollment packet via email. Walk-in open labs are currently being offered for employees who are comfortable with Banner Self Service but might require one-on-one assistance with completing their online enrollment. The lab schedule can be found on the Human Resources website at http://www.semo.edu/hr/open-enrollment.html.  Questions should be directed to Human Resources at (573) 651-2206.

SmartEvals Schedule Announced

Faculty special requests are now being accepted for SmartEvals' fall 2019 courses. Special requests include adding more questions, aggregating courses for combined evaluation, handling teaching assistant sections separately, and using chairperson requested departmental evaluations. For the 2019 calendar year SmartEvals deadlines and events, as well as instructions to add special requests, visit https://semo.edu/it/AcaTech. From this website, users can now add each deadline as calendar events with the Outlook icon link.

 The Center for Writing Excellence announces the second workshop in the 2019 Writing in the Disciplines (WID) program. “Straight from the Horse’s Mouth: Primary Sources in Special Collections and Archives, Kent Library,” presented by Dr. Joni Hand, associate professor of art history with Southeast's Department of Art and Design, will be held at 1 p.m. Friday, Nov. 8, in the Rare Book Room, Kent Library Room 306. Hand will discuss her research of primary sources in Kent Library's Special Collections and Archives, as well as other sources in the Charles Luce Harrison Collection.
