Academic Technologies Announces IT Communication Channels

Academic Technologies, a division of Information Technology (IT), invites faculty and staff to check out three communication sources of information to be in the know.

First, for all the information from Academic Technologies, visit and click on “Academic Technologies.” While the site is continually being built, there is currently a Moodle Status page for past, present and future Moodle status announcements, and to report a Moodle issue. The SmartEvals page contains the 2019 schedule for course evaluation deadlines. There is also a section that includes information about current technology being used on the Southeast campus from faculty contributors. The first 20 faculty contributors will be awarded a new monitor for the classroom of their choice. To get additional information posted in this location, contact Martha Henckell at or the IT Help Desk at (573) 651-HELP (4357).

Second, subscribe to IT TechTalk. Emails containing information regarding new announcements and technology articles are never sent more than once per week and only with a new list of announcements or technology articles. Faculty information and alerts will often be published here. To subscribe from the IT homepage, visit or You may unsubscribe at any time.

Third, all IT related academic technology alerts and announcements will be posted on the Southeast Newswire. Facebook is not a sanctioned site for posting official IT information.
