The Office of Admissions has launched Degree Works Transfer Equivalency, an online tool that provides an unofficial degree audit for prospective transfer students and high school students taking dual enrollment courses.
The tool uses Southeast’s course equivalencies to build a sample degree plan so students can see not only how their coursework transfers in, but also how it applies to their major.
The system produces an unofficial degree audit that looks identical to a current student’s Degree Works. The system allows students to enter their institutions, courses, number of credit hours and grades received. After the initial audit is conducted, the system allows students to go back and change their major, similar to the “What If” function in Degree Works.
Degree Works Transfer Equivalency is available for prospective students, their families, school counselors and advisors, and Southeast faculty and staff at semo.edu/transfercredit.
For more information, or for a demonstration of the system, contact Brooke Lockhart, assistant director of Admissions, at email@example.com or (573) 651-2957.
