May 22, 2009 – Two advising and enrollment sessions for new first-time students are planned for Tuesday, June 9, and Tuesday, July 21, at Southeast Missouri State University-Sikeston.
Both sessions are scheduled for 5:30–9 p.m.
During these advising and enrollment sessions, new students will have the chance to connect with other incoming students, according to Kim Madigan, coordinator of academic programs at Southeast’s Sikeston campus. In addition, they will activate their Southeast Key, learn to navigate the Southeast portal, tour the building, get their ID photo taken and learn about the courses in which they enroll. Additionally, students will leave the session with a copy of their fall schedule in hand.
The Sikeston campus has recently held two advising and enrollment sessions with 23 new first-time students attending.
“There is still plenty of time to enroll for the summer and fall semesters,” Madigan said.
For students unable to make the June or July session, individual advising and enrollment sessions can be scheduled, she said. To make arrangements to attend a group session or for an individual appointment, admitted students should call (573) 472-3210.
