March 19, 2008 – The American Red Cross will hold a blood drive April 7 at Southeast Missouri State University.
Donors interested in helping to maintain an adequate blood supply may donate from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. in Robert A. Dempster Hall.
All donors who attempt to donate blood will receive a complimentary T-shirt.
Healthy individuals who are at least 17 years old and weigh 110 pounds or more are eligible to donate blood. Sixteen-year-olds with written permission from a parent or guardian are also eligible to donate. Federal regulations require whole blood donors to wait 56 days between donations.
