Spaces Still Available for Annual Employee Wellness Screening and Health Fair Oct. 22-23

Southeast’s Recreation Services, in collaboration with Human Resource, will host the 2019 Employee Wellness Screening and Fair from 6-10 a.m. Tuesday, Oct. 22, and Wednesday, Oct. 23, in the Student Recreation Center East Gym.

Services such as basic blood analysis, bone density scans, blood pressure screenings, body composition, hernia screenings and more will be available to all employees. Prostate-specific antigen testing will be offered at an additional cost. A coffee and juice bar will be provided.

This fair will also feature more than 25 exhibitors such as UnitedHealthcare, Missouri Running Company, Chartwells and SoutheastHEALTH, which is offering several free health screenings including pulmonary function testing and a skin care screening. Vascular test will also be provided by Integra Wellness at an additional cost.

Flu shots will be available and are covered under the preventive benefits of Southeast’s United Healthcare medical insurance plan.

Additionally, Integra Wellness will be on site again this year at the health fair to perform Stroke/Carotid Artery Ultrasounds, Abdominal Aortic Aneurysm Ultrasounds and Peripheral Arterial Disease (PAD) tests. Visit  to get additional information on each of the test. Each test is $50, or employees may choose the full vascular test which includes all three for $110. Spouses may participate as well. Because these tests are performed outside of a medical setting, they are not covered by the University’s health insurance. Payment is required at time of service. Forms of payment accepted are Visa, Master Card, flexible spending cards, HSA debit cards, cash and checks. To register for the tests, Click Here To Sign Up Online or email or call 1 (800) 884-6251. For more information about Integra Wellness test, call Human Resources at ext. 7365.

As a reminder, beginning Aug. 1, the University began offering Student Recreation Center and Student Aquatic Center full memberships at no charge to benefit-eligible employees. If you are not eligible for the University-provided membership but are a current member, online membership renewal is available at
