Advisors support students as they experience one of the best parts of the college experience – being a member or leader in a student organization. An advisor is critical to students’ success by helping them manage their student organizations, and assisting them in the development of their leadership abilities.
In order to be a registered student organization at Southeast Missouri State University, groups must have a currently employed faculty or staff advisor. Graduate assistants may also serve as organization advisors.
As students establish and manage their student organizations, Campus Life and Event Services is helping to identify potential advisors. If you are interested in becoming a student organization advisor, complete a short questionnaire on SE Link, the University’s student organization database, available here.
